I had a leak in my kitchen and I looked around online for some plumbers. I just moved into town. I called drain genie and a real person answered and was very helpful. The guy showed up the same day, on time, and diagnosed the problem. At first they wanted to cut through some cement wall but I said no so then they showed me another option to cut through my kitchen wall which in my opinion is easier and safer than opening up the outside cement wall. He could have opened with that. Guy was honest and professional and trustworthy. Got the job done. The estimate I had was 450 but I paid 1200. Felt like a big leap. Tripled in price but hey I’m no plumber and I couldn’t fix it. Guy used a torch and stuff must have been tough. They have some confusing complicated iPad system they use to charge you. Was nebulous and esoteric. I don’t know why the charge went up so much. Didn’t seal the hole but they told me that at the get go. If you want a company that may give you some financial slack these aren’t the family owned couple of plumbers working together. Seemed like one of the bigger companies. Didn’t seem like ma and pa kind of plumber. I later asked for some pictures and info for an insurance claim and they were super helpful. That’s my experience.
